Tabula Rasa, a land with no map
Tabula Rasa, there’s no turning back
Tabula Rasa
(NARRATIVE)
In the beginning there was the land, and the circle of life
And the Indians burned the sage, danced long into the night
But the great spirit warned of troubled times ahead
Strangers from the sunrise like wildfire would spread
They searched for the passage to the great western sea
The French and the Spanish on the edge of a dream
A swirl of nations swirling down like angry bees
On the Indian nations, eyes wide as can be
Tabula Rasa, a land with no map
Tabula Rasa, there’s no turning back
Tabula Rasa
Some men befriended, and honored each their kind
They could have lived together, they could have stayed alive
But the Indian nations were consumed by greed of man
Like the Stony Mountains are washed away to sand
Tabula Rasa, a land with no map
Tabula Rasa, there’s no turning back
Tabula Rasa
Tabula Rasa, a land with no map
Tabula Rasa, there’s no turning back
Tabula Rasa, a land with no map
Rise Indian nations, it’s time to come back
Tabula Rasa
